About Us

School starts for all pupils on Wednesday 30th of August 2023. Children are asked to line up at 9:15am for a 9:20am start.

Junior Infants will finish at 12:30pm from Wednesday 30th of August until Friday 8th of September 2023.   

Junior Infants will go home at 2pm from Monday 11th of September. 

Senior Infants will finish school at 2pm from 30th of August. 

All other classes finish school at 3pm.

On wet days children may go straight to the P.E. Hall where they will be collected by their class teacher.

Our lunchtime schedule has changed for the school year 2023-2024 and our new times will be implemented on a trial basis.  

Small Break - 11:00am to 11:10am.

Big Break - 12:45pm to 1:15pm.

Staff

The school currently has an administrative principal, 12 mainstream teaching staff, 4 Special Education Teachers,  2  ASD classes (Tír na nÓg), 11 special needs assistants, a caretaker, 3 bus escorts and a secretary. The classes are mixed single stream classes from junior infants to sixth.

Parents Association

We have a very active Parents Association. The committee meet regularly to support and organise school events and fund raisers. Their main functions are to :

-Represent the views of parents

-To inform parents of developments in education and in the school

-To foster co-operation between parents/teachers and the Board of Management.
